The Last Qtr of 2016

Hard to believe we're in the last quarter of 2016; goodbye September, hello October.

I said goodbye by driving down to Southport Ferry Terminal, Southport, NC to take the 1215 Ferry to Fort Fisher. The recent rain in the area helped cool down the ferry ride. It was a great relaxing trip, which was capped off with a late seafood lunch in Kure Beach and some quiet time with the fishermen on the Kure Beach pier.

One of the advantages of being off on a Thursday or Friday: minimal traffic and crowds at tourist destinations........
